Privacy policy
Effective from 25 October 2026
1. Controller and contact
The controller of your personal data is awisoft s. r. o., Agátová 821/29, 951 35 Veľké Zálužie, Slovakia, Company ID 53765753.
For a question or a request about your data, contact us through the form on this site or in writing at our registered address. If you have already had an e-mail from us, simply reply to it.
2. What data we process
From the meeting request form: your name, company and e-mail address, which are required. Then whatever you choose to add: your position, phone number, type of laboratory, validation framework, the tools you write protocols in, your answers to the opening questions, your message, and whether you would like to receive news.
Providing your data is voluntary, but without the required fields we cannot reply to your request.
The site does not store your request: the server e-mails it to our address and discards it. The server keeps your IP address in memory to limit the number of requests from one address per hour.
On every visit, the hosting provider records technical data about the request, including your IP address. It is used for security and to detect abuse.
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use the data from the form to reply to you and to arrange and prepare the meeting. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering your request and in talking to laboratories about how they prepare validation protocols (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We send you news about Ekvo only if you asked for it in the form. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by replying to any of our e-mails. Withdrawal does not affect processing before it.
We process your IP address and the technical records of visits to protect the site and the form against abuse and attacks, on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We carry out no automated decision-making or profiling.
4. Retention period
We keep your meeting request and our correspondence for no more than 12 months after our last contact. If we agree to work together, we continue to process the data as part of that cooperation.
To send you news, we keep your name and e-mail address until you withdraw your consent.
Your IP address stays in the server’s memory for as long as it takes to limit the number of requests per hour. We keep the request logs of the form’s server for 30 days; Firebase Hosting keeps IP addresses for a few months, under Google’s terms.
5. Recipients and processors
We do not sell your data or pass it to others for marketing. It is processed on our behalf only by the providers who keep things running, and only on our instructions: Google, which runs the site and the form’s server through Firebase Hosting and Google Cloud, and WebCreators, s.r.o., ČSA 24, 974 01 Banská Bystrica, Slovakia (HostCreators.sk), which runs our mailbox.
Google may process data outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States. The transfer relies on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which Google is certified.
6. Your rights
You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict its processing and to data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interest, and you can withdraw your consent to news at any time.
If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Slovak supervisory authority, Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky, Hraničná 4826/12, 820 07 Bratislava (dataprotection.gov.sk), or with the supervisory authority of the country where you live or work.
